Highlights

Oppo Reno is a new series launched by Oppo which is primarily targeting the higher mid-tier range of the market and is aiming to bring some innovative and creative solutions at the table for users of said segment. The idea behind Oppo Reno is to enhance the way users see the world from their phones and jacking up the entertainment which comes from using these phones. The body and design is something that has been worked upon a lot. Oppo Reno sports a special Aluminum glass framing body with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection at the back and Gorilla Glass 6 protection at the front with some amazing and unique color schemes.

Oppo has brought top-tier quality in the new Oppo Reno:

Inexplicably, no one can argue with the fact that the Reno series is an absolutely new and unique take. Delivering top-tier features in a mid-tier price range. A double rear camera set up at the back with the main camera being 48 MP with an additional 5 MP depth sensor is indeed a dreamy combination. A motorized pop-up camera of 16 MP at the front, f/2.2 with up to 1080@30fps video recording. Providing Gorilla Glass protection at both the front and back. It comes in with two variants of RAM 6/8 GB with 128/256 GB internal storage. The battery is a bit disappointing of 3765mAh but 20W VOOC fast charging covers up for it. An optical under-display fingerprint sensor is also present in the phone which further elevates the beauty of the phone.

Oppo brining premium phone feels to the mid-range category, but its nothing we haven't seen before!

Oppo Reno is a new and creative series by Oppo, but it's nothing we have not seen before! To name some competition; Xiaomi Mi 9T, Huawei Mate 20 X, Google Pixel 3a and Huawei Honor 20 Pro all sport similar features for a similar price but perhaps the advantage Oppo Reno has is its price! It's the most notable flagship killer the company has rolled out in recent years and to say that the series is shaking up the industry would be an ideal way to put it.

How is Oppo Reno different from Oppo reno 10x Zoom, Oppo reno lite, and Reno Pro?

Oppo Reno and Oppo Reno 10x Zoom were both announced in Zurich in early 2019 back and were both appreciated critically and won the hearts of consumers as well.

Oppo Reno 10x Zoom has a triple camera set up at the back, a bigger screen and a better resolution, it also rocks the new Snapdragon 855 chipset whereas Reno is powered by the Snapdragon 710 chipset. The Reno 10X Zoom also carries an additional card slot but only offers up to 256 GB additional storage.

Oppo Reno lite is where Oppo brings down the Reno series to the mid-tier range; the phone does have two variants which do copy the Oppo Reno and Reno 10X Zoom but the phone is seriously brought down in the camera department as it does not support the luxurious or lavish cameras that it's siblings have.

The Oppo Reno Pro is somewhat a similar phone and adds more style and some additions to the camera of the Oppo Reno but otherwise, the two phones are much more similar than different giving users more options to choose from.
