So, after a few months only, the largest manufacturer of phones i.e. Samsung<\/a> announced that it is going drop in another bomb in the market in the form of Galaxy A30s. Now as you guys know, we just can\u2019t help but review it in-depth for you so there are no regrets after you\u2019ve made the purchase. We will also be comparing Samsung A30 vs. A30s just to know that what all the hype is about and if there are any changes at all. So, without any further due, let\u2019s get our hands dirty! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now without any doubt, the A30 and A50<\/a> series of Samsung Galaxy has been one of the most successful ones for the brand. There are some serious buyers for the series and now, in fact, some loyalists too. In fact, A30 has got the bigger bite of success, unlike the A50. It is the reason why A30s has been launched. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

You get a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display that is power-packed with the 720 x 1560 pixels resolution. It has a 268 PPI density. So here, boys and girls, you don\u2019t get an upgrade but instead, you get a downgrade as the A30 has a 1080 x 2340 pixels and a 403 PPI density. The screen size remains the same for both the smartphones and the screen-body ratio as well. The high price range doesn\u2019t at all do justice to the smaller resolution of the screen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Galaxy A30s comes with Android 9 Pie and there are no\nhopes for it to be upgraded to the Android 10, which is the latest version of\nthe operating system. Majority of the Samsung phones that are being launched\nnow are coming equipped with the latest version. Moreover, both the smartphones\nare powered by Octa-core (2×1.8 GHz Cortex-A73 & 6×1.6 GHz Cortex-A53) and\nthere is no difference in the GPU as well i.e. Mali-G71 MP2. Long story short,\nyou wouldn\u2019t find any difference in the operating system for A30s and A30. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Power and Performance<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The A30s features the chipset Exynos 7885 whereas the A30\nhad the chipset Exynos 7904. Now, most of the people will be fooled by the\nnumbers. Some might feel that the A30s has an older version of the chipset\nwhile the A30 has the latest version, but it isn\u2019t the case. The chipset Exynos\n7885 is newer version and it is improved with more powerful performance in\nterms of battery life as well. Comparatively, it is safe to say that there has\nbeen a fair amount of update from the Exynos 7904 to the Exynos 7885. So yes,\nit will make your phone faster and much better with efficient performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moving on, the RAM storage is the same i.e. 32GB for both\nthe smartphones. However, for all you data bugs over there, you can extend the\nstorage to 128GB, which is a lot. I mean, no matter how many ugly selfies you\nsave or the random memes you store on your phone, the storage won\u2019t run dow on\nyou. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Camera<\/strong> of Samsung Galaxy A30s<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

You get a triple camera setup with the newly launched A30s. The main camera is of 25MP with the f\/1.7 aperture while the A30 had a 16MP main camera with f\/1.7 aperture. The main difference also includes that in A30, you get just two cameras but in A30s you get triple cameras. It is something amazing for people who like taking pictures. You get an ultra-wide camera of 8 MP and a depth sensor camera of 5MP. The selfie camera remains the same for both smartphones. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In-Display Fingerprint Sensor<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

For people who have been using the A30, know that there has been no in-display fingerprint sensor. Now with the Samsung Galaxy A30s you get a fully geared up in-display fingerprint sensor. However, it is nothing to be really happy about because all the fingerprint sensors that can be found in the Galaxy A series are extremely faulty. Even the fingerprint sensor in A70 sucks, so now you can just imagine it for the A30s. Instead of the in-display fingerprint sensor they could have shot for a lower price because that would have been more considerable. But, what to do because, \u2018shashke bhi zaruri dekhane hain<\/em>\u2019. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Battery<\/strong> life of Samsung Galaxy A30s<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

No change here guys! You get a 4,000 mAh battery with the\nA30 and you get a 4,000 mAh battery with A30s too. It was expected that the\nbattery will be improved with A30s, but sadly, we get nothing. However, you can\nget a better battery performance, all thanks to the upgraded chipset. The rest\nof it is Same Ol\u2019 Same Ol\u2019. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Conclusion<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

I don\u2019t want to say it, but Samsung is definitely making a fool of the consumers by actually decreasing the resolution of the A30s and yet marketing it as an updated version or a newer version of the A30. A big LOL over there! Moreover, the in-display fingerprint is completely useless, for sure. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
