Asus has hopped aboard this particular ship and it seems like taking the high road to make a name for itself through the release of the stunning Zenfone 3 ZE552KL. Not a handsome name by any means, the smartphone’s specs will beg to differ.

Build quality and display

The Zenfone 3 ZE552KL looks like a mixture of some Huawei and Samsung devices from its front and back. The front features the 3 capacitive buttons on the bottom bezel which for no apparent reason do not feature backlighting (ouch!) while the back panel is an altogether different piece of the puzzle with a Galaxy S7-ish glass panel with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. That’s not it; the smartphone is extremely sleek with a 7.7mm width while its 155g weight will feel much lighter in the palm.
The smartphone features a 5.5 inches Super IPS+ capacitive touchscreen with 401ppi pixel density. This translates into a handsome 1080p HD resolution that on combination with the Super IPS+ produces staggering results.
