Most HTC Desire smartphones are more about the budget side of things. The Desire 630 is another customary addition to these with the smartphone doing reasonably, but not very, well against its competitors.

The Desire series mostly banks on plastic as its designated material of choice. That’s exactly the case here as well. Putting it in a more fancy way, the smartphone features a polycarbonate back with a slightly obese 8.3mm width and 140g weight. Nothing fancy here, you’ve seen all this before with the Desire 825 and 830.

The display presents an adequate combination of a 5.0 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 294ppi pixel density. Easily sporting a 720p resolution, the smartphone’s graphics department leaves with nothing much to be Desire-d.

Customary cameras with somewhat disappointing hardware

With a 13 megapixel primary sensor and customary camera features that include touch focus, geo-tagging, HDR and panorama, the Desire 630’s primary camera does well indeed. Its selfie sensor’s not the best as we’re only witnessing 5 MP worth of power which should ruffle the feathers of most people out there.

Hardware wise, we’re a tad disappointed despite the smartphone featuring a quad-core processor and 2GB RAM for its Android Marshmallow. That’s probably because of its vastly underpowered 2200 mAh battery and no fingerprint scanner. Thankfully the internal storage stands at 16 gigs otherwise the device would’ve been a disaster.
