As a continuation of its love with budget smartphones, Huawei introduced yet another smartphone that was supposed to further enhance its reputation as a value device creating company. The Ascend Y320 was intended to be a part of something astonishing for Huawei as it was targeted as the lowest costing smartphone that could provide some of the basic smartphone necessities.

It did not fare that well though as QMobile and others had upped their game in similar priced categories by introducing Galaxy Star 2 and Noir S3. The Y320 did a fine job when competing against the Star of Samsung but was somewhat bulldozed by the Noir S3. Here’s all you need to know about the Y320.

The Y320 features some of the very common specifications, both design and performance wise, which include a 4.0 inches TFT capacitive touchscreen with a 233 ppi pixel density. The 233 ppi pixel density may go finely with the 4.0 inches display giving you streamlined graphics. The next thing up for grabs with the Huawei Y320 is its Dual-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7 with a disappointing amount of RAM i.e just 512 megabytes. This isn’t going to give you a performance you’ll remember for long.

Next up are its cameras. Disheartening as it is, the Y320 has completely ditched the selfie camera which will come as a big blow to anyone who reads it. The primary is also just a meagre 2 megapixels in weight and this probably is a weakness of this smartphone together with its 512MB of RAM. The internal memory is at 4GB but fortunately expandable up to 32GB.

Regarding its dimensions and weight, the 123g is sleek and you won’t feel like carrying a stone in your hands every time you’ll use the Y320. It’s a little thicker than it should be at 11.1 mm though.

With the dimensions, we come to the end of our review of Huawei Ascend Y320. A very economical smartphone that unfortunately misses the selfie camera. Otherwise, not much to talk about there as the market is already filled with similar specs phones and you can probably get a better phone than this. Just check some QMobiles out.
