Infinix has been extremely generous when it comes to the design and aesthetics of their smartphones. While we do feel that the capacitive buttons on the front bottom bezel should now be removed with an alternative like the Nexus 5X uses should be adopted, the smartphone is still deftly designed with its beautiful color schemes complimenting an 8.3mm width. The diamond textured back is also one of its defining traits.

The Hot 3 Pro features a 5.5 inches TFT GFF capacitive touchscreen with a 267ppi pixel density. The display almost makes the Hot 3 Pro qualify for the phablet category and it is indeed good news for people who hold a fetish for larger screens. Its max resolution stands at 720p which we believe is good.

Camera

Infinix claims to use unique technologies to make its cameras competitive. The primary camera houses a 13 megapixel sensor with 5-element lens that should do justice with its camcorder duties. The secondary camera features a 5 megapixel wide-angled lens which makes for crispier and wider selfies allowing you to stuff much more in your snaps.

Hardware and Software

A cornerstone of Chinese manufacturers is their generosity with hardware and the Infinix Hot 3 Pro is another example of it. With a 1.4 GHz Octa-core processor plus 2GB of RAM, it’s sure to be a roller coaster for the built-in Android v5.1 Lollipop further expandable to v6.0 Marshmallow. Smooth multitasking and excellent gaming made possible through the Adreno 405 GPU is a guarantee.
