Highlights

"Todays times requires you to stand out and be different"; this is what Infinix believes in, especially its newest generation of smartphones. The Note 5 is another addition to the Infinix family which will surely add to the glory of this brand. A distinct look and design and a new approach user-centered approach are some of its tipping points all in all within a price-tag of Rs. 25,000.

Expectedly good build quality

More than anything, users are struck by its large screen and a very thin bezel design, which is one of the norms in the smartphone world nowadays.  Moreover, the multiple options for colours are an added plus while an 8.4mm width is a tad excessive in our opinion.

Display: one of its crowning features

The display is undoubtedly one of the first things which grabs a users’ attention . So when it comes to a 6.0 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 topping, a display-loving user can’t help but lick his/her lips. A resolution of 1080 by 2160 pixels is what you get to enjoy considering that the smartphone features 402ppi pixel density. The result; we have a display that offers both quality and quantity.

Powerful camera sensors on both fronts

The Infinix Note 5 features two power-packed camera sensors. The 12 MP primary sensor with phase detection autofocus and an LED flash promises the user excellent snapping. Other customary features include geo-tagging, panorama and HDR.

The selfie camera features a bigger sensor compared to the primary one; we’re talking about a 16 MP snapper here that on paper seems to be one hell of a camera sensor.

The hardware speaks volumes about the Note 5

A 2.0 GHz octa-core processor with 64GB built-in storage and 4 gigs of RAM is more than what we expected to be honest. That’s more than enough to power the built-in Android Oreo so expect no lag at all. You won’t find a fingerprint scanner here and instead you’ll have to rely on iPhone X-like Face iD. A large 4500 mAh battery is fully capable of lasting around 2 days of usage (depending on usage frequency) while an external card-slot empowers you to add more storage in case you ever run out the available 64GB.
