Oppo has been hanging around in our country for quite some time now. The company has received an overwhelming response as many of its releases have done quite well by balancing features with their prices. The Oppo A37 is another one of these amazing budget smartphones from the renowned Chinese manufacturer and we’ll tell you why.

Build quality and display

We’ve observed that Oppo kind of follows a similar design for most of its releases. There are significant amount of similarities between their smartphones’ exteriors and one can easily confuse them with one another. Such is the case with the A37 as well as its very similar to the F1 and F1s. The device features a metal unibody design with the three capacitive buttons on the front bottom bezel while its dimensions further add gloss to the smartphone with a 7.7mm width and 136g weight.

The smartphone features a 5.0 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 294ppi pixel density. This translates into a satisfying 720p resolution that’ll get along just fine with the 5.0 inches Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protected display. Beware though as it might just not offer the perfection you’ll want.

Cameras

Oppo has put a lot of effort in its cameras. Many of its devices feature large camera sensors. Unfortunately, this isn’t the case with the A37 but the smartphone nevertheless contains two adequate sensors; the primary camera features an 8 megapixel sensor with an LED flash while the selfie camera features a 5 megapixel sensor. Both the cameras contain satisfactory amount of power which is why we see the A37 in a positive light with regards to its cameras.

Hardware and software

The A37 is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad-Core processor with 2GB of RAM. Both of these harmoniously work with the built-in Android Lollipop whilst its internal storage stands at 16 gigs. An external memory card slot is also present but a fingerprint scanner and Fast Charge both are among the absentees list.

Its battery capacity is also fine at 2630 mAh while the smartphone is in love with two variants of one color, gold and rose gold.
