Stepping into the more serious side of things, QMobile is racking up its arsenal of excellent devices. The M6 surely deserves credit for putting flagship level specifications atop a plate for users to enjoy and doing-so within a price of 29,500 rupees is all the more commendable.

Design wise, the back is good but not so much for the front panel

The M6 carries on what QMobile has been sniffing out in the design department since months now; the front panel looks pretty much Samsung-ish, if you count the Galaxy S8 out that is. We’re happy that the three capacitive buttons that used to sit on the front bottom bezel are no longer there but we’d like QMobile to cook something new up by now as far as the front is concerned. The back panel is all metal that gives the smartphone some much needed premium-ness while the 8.9mm width and 184g weight should’ve been trimmed down to say the least.

A display noteworthy of praise 

Featuring a 5.5 inches capacitive touchscreen with 2.5D curved edges and 480ppi pixel density, the M6 trumps many other competing QMobile devices with ease. Adding further gloss to its large display is its ability to render a 1080p HD resolution. Who wouldn’t want HD quality on a large display?

The cameras department shows potential

Both the camera sensors contain plenty of muscle but unfortunately as is the case with almost all other QMobile devices, they lack notable camera features such as OIS or phase detection. The absence of these features does impact the performance of the 13 megapixel primary sensor but we’re optimistic that its performance would be good enough considering the primary camera’s large megapixels.

The selfie camera features a powerful 8 megapixel sensor that’s exactly the amount we would’ve liked to see here. Thankfully the age of 5 megapixel selfie sensors is finally meeting its maker.

The schematics roar with power!

This is the area where the true prowess of the M6 comes into display; the smartphone is powered by an octa-core processor with 4 gigs of RAM. It’s baffling to see Android Marshmallow here considering Nougat is the widespread OS now but the smartphone will nevertheless smoothly negotiate the Marshmallow’s commute atop its powerful hardware. Its internal storage banks at 64 gigs which is one of the highlights of the M6 while a fingerprint scanner adds security and a huge 5000 mAh non-removable battery complete juices the smartphone to reach newer heights of battery life!
