It’s hard to guess QMobile’s marketing strategy, particularly considering that the company releases tons of devices with similar specifications but different names. The Noir J2 is one of the company’s better devices with adequate processing power within an affordable price of 11,000 rupees.

Design and display

Most of QMobile’s devices aren’t the best when it comes to their exteriors. Same is the case with the Noir J2 as the device’s build quality is pretty average with a removable plastic back panel. Its dimensions do not offer much encouragement as well because of an 8.3mm width and 162g weight.

The front display, a 5.0 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen might be adequately sized but its 240ppi pixel density allows no more than a 480p resolution. Definitely not what you or us wanted to hear.

Cameras and hardware restore some pride

The smartphone’s 8 MP primary sensor with an LED flash and a 5 MP selfie sensor offer encouragement as we expected two vastly underpowered sensors in place of these two.

When it comes to the Noir J2’s hardware, we’re quite happy to see the smartphone featuring a quad-core processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. These definitely are the smartphone’s crowning features while other customaries include dual-SIM capability, external card-slot expandable up to 64GB and a seemingly underpowered 2500 mAh battery powering the smartphone.
