Xiaomi can safely call itself as one of the first companies to come up with that idea through the famed Mi Mix and the Mi Mix 2 is an increment to that with an expected launching price of 95,000 rupees.

Design: an S8 with only a bezel at the bottom of its display

The Mi Mix 2 is Xiaomi’s flagship phablet with some incredible specifications underneath its hood. Other than featuring a larger than life display, its hardware finely compliments its power. The caption finely describes what the smartphone looks like as it features a dual-glass panel design with excellent dimensions that include a 7.9mm width and 209g weight. Phablets tend to weigh that much so the 209g shouldn’t bum you out.

The touchscreen stretches from the top of its front panel to the thin bezel at its bottom making the smartphone seem like a cross between the iPhone 8 and the Galaxy S8.

Inherits its display from the Mi Mix

If there’s one department that sees little but significant improvement upon its predecessor, it’s the display. The smartphone features a slightly toned-down 6.2 inches AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 531ppi pixel density. Huge bump in camera prowess

Not much new to talk about in the Mi Mix 2’s hardware

The phablet is powered by an octa-core processor with variant dependent RAM and internal storage; the comparatively cheaper variant includes 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage while the power-packed variant features 6GB RAM plus 256 gigs of storage. Both ditch the external card-slot altogether while optional dual-SIM capability is always on standby.

In keeping up with modern trends, the smartphone features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB type-C for fast and efficient data transfer while Quick Charge 3.0 and a large 4400 mAh non-removable battery keeps the smartphone ticking for a day on normal usage.
