If you were looking to buy an okay-ish smartphone without breaking a sweat, the Alcatel A5 LED is one of the options you should look into especially as its price hovers somewhere around 16,000-18,000 rupees.

720p display: the highlight of the display and design department

Featuring an all-plastic build with a finely textured back panel, the smartphone’s 5.2 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 720p resolution takes all the plaudits here. Its 7.7mm shouts for recognition as well.

Cameras

Featuring an 8 megapixel primary sensor and a 5 megapixel selfie one, for now we’ll reserve our critique for some other smartphone.

Wholesome processing power

We’re glad to see the A5 LED featuring a 1.5 GHz octa-core processor with 2 gigs of RAM. The built-in Android Marshmallow will be reasonably happy to work with the processing power while the 2800 mAh battery contains good-enough juice to keep the hardware and software intact for hours.
