The newest edition, and most peculiar one at that, to the BlackBerry line is the “All Touch” BlackBerry Motion. The new phone has a couple of things going for it as it’s the first BlackBerry phone with water resistance and a huge battery. The phone is priced roughly at Rs. 50,000.
Bold Rectangular shape showing off a Professional Design
Accustomed with all BlackBerry phones are their bold and mature looks. No stranger to this design pattern, the BlackBerry Motion is appealing to the eyes. Built with a hardened aluminum frame, the phone is definitely not compromising on build quality. The back has a soft touch material which provides for better grip. Above the texture is the main 12MP camera sensor and an LED flash.
The front of the phone is home to the 5.5-inch Full-HD IPS LCD display, an 8MP camera, a home button/fingerprint scanner and some really big bezels; something we didn’t expect to see given its price.
Standard Cameras
Equipped with a 12MP camera on the back and an 8MP camera on the front, the BlackBerry Motion isn’t exactly a camera-phone. Even so, the phone produces decent quality images as expected for its price and records video at 1080p resolution at 30fps.
Mid-Range hardware
Under the hood is a Snapdragon 625 processor and 4 gigs of RAM. Internal storage is maxed out at 32GB but you can use a microSD card up to 256GB. Keeping the lights on easily for more than a day is a 4000mAh battery; the first BlackBerry phone to ever have such a big one.
