The One S is the second member of HTC’s new One family that has its own special range of features. One notable thing about the One S is the microarc oxidation processor HTC has used to manufacture it, which makes it extremely sturdy and strong. It is also incredibly thin at just 7.8 mm. The screen used by the One S is a 4.3 Inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 540 x 960 along with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass, making it much more scratch-resistant. This phone is also Beats Audio certified allowing it to produces very authentic and deep sound.
Like other phones of the One series, the HTC Ones S runs Android 4.0 ICS but it is upgradable to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. There is also an overlay of Sense 4 which outshines default Android in places like the Camera app and also in general beauty of the OS.
There is an 8 MP Autofocus camera in the One S along with an LED flash which produces incredible results. Low-light performance was also pretty noteworthy, as was the lightning fast picture capture.
It runs on a 1.5 GHz Dual-Core Snapdragon S4 processor and 1 GB of RAM making it easily able to handle Android. Combine that with the buttery smooth Jelly Bean OS, and it is practically impossible to find a lag. A 1650 mAh battery powers this up, and is enough to give you a standby time of 317 hours.
