How many Honor 20 variants have been launched by Huawei?
Honor has launched three variants of Honor 20 series in May 2019. Honor 20 pro being the most expensive and features filled is in the eyes of most tech bloggers. Honor 20 being in the middle spot can be proved as the best mid-range device by Honor in 2019 and lastly, the Honor 20 Lite is targeted at premium budget class may compete with Huawei's own phones like P30 Lite and Honor 8X.
When is Honor 20 going to release?
Honor, the subsidiary of Huawei, launched the latest and greatest Honor 20 earlier this week and phone was expected to get released in early July however, this might not happen now as Honor 20 has not received Android certification making Honor 20 the first big phone which will get to be affected with Huawei ban by America. The phone will not offer any Google services including Google Play Store, Gmail Integration, Google Assistance, etc. This only time can tell that when will the Honor 20 finally get to release in markets.
How is Honor 20 different than Honor 20 Pro?
Honor launched three variants of Honor 20 series, namely, Honor 20, Honor 20 pro and Honor 20 Lite. Lite version being released for the budget market is in direct competition with Huawei P30 Lite. However, Honor 20 and Honor 20 both are powerful beasts from Honor. Let us see how well both variants compare to each other. Both phones house same IPS display of 6.26 inches with a resolution of 1080x2340 pixels. Design wise both phones are offering punch hole display just like Samsung galaxy S10 however, the punch hole is on the left side of the display to make the difference. Both phones are made up of glass to give a premium look and feel and both offer dual SIM support. Performance wise Honor 20 and Honor 20 both are powered by HiSilicon Kirin 980 chipset which is a 7nm octa-core processor. Honor 20 packs with 256GB of Storage with 8GB of RAM where Honor 20 comes with 128GB of Storage with 6GB of RAM. Both phones do not support expandable storage. The major differentiating factor between the two phones is in the camera department. Honor 20 comes with quad camera setup including 48MP standard lens, 16 MP ultra-wide angle lens, 8 MP zoom lens with 3x optical zoom and 2MP dedicated macro camera. On the other hand, Honor 20 also comes with quad camera setup including a 48MP standard lens, 16MP ultra-wide angle lens, 2MP macro camera, and 2MP depth sensor. On the front, both phones are offering 32MP selfie shooter. Both phones do not have 3.5mm headphone jack. The fingerprint sensor is mounted on the side of both phones and another major difference comes in the battery capacity where Honor 20 comes with 4000 mAh battery and Honor 20 come with 3750 mAh battery.
What are the display specifications of Honor 20?
Honor 20 comes with a 6.26 inches IPS LCD display with 84.2% screen to body ratio. Resolution wise we are getting 1080x2340 pixels resolution and 412 ppi density. Honor 20 will be the first phone from Huawei that will introduce the punch hole display just like Samsung Galaxy S10. However, the placement of the selfie camera is different as Honor 20 houses selfie camera on the top left of the device.
