Build and Design

The Huawei Nova 3 Lite measures 155.20 x 73.40 x 7.95mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 160.00 grams. It was launched in Aurora Blue, Coral Red, and Midnight Black colors. The phone is made up of plastic back with a gradient look and is featuring a teardrop notch on the front. Side bezels are minimal and the chin on the bottom is noticeable giving the feel of the low-end budget device. 

Display

Huawei Nova 3 Lite smartphone was launched in January 2019. The phone comes with a 6.21 inches LCD Panel with a resolution of 1080x2340 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The display is bright enough and sunlight legibility is also up to the mark. Colors are vibrant and sharp and videos watching or gaming experience is better than many phones in a similar price range. 

Cameras

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Huawei Nova 3 Lite on the rear packs a 13MP primary camera and a secondary 2MP lens for depth effect. The rear camera setup has autofocus. On the front, we get a 16MP camera for selfies. The results are decent but not great. Pictures taken in good lighting conditions are great however, the camera suffers in low lighting conditions. Portrait mode is also pretty average and edge detection could have been much better. 

Performance

Nova 3 Lite comes with Huawei’s signature HiSilicon Kirin 710 chipset. The phone offers 32GB of internal storage with 3GB of RAM. However, users get the option to include memory card which is supported up to 512GB. The device runs EMUI 9.0.1 based on Android 9 Pie. The Huawei Nova 3 Lite is a dual-SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM cards. Connectivity options on the device include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, Bluetooth v4.20, NFC, USB OTG, Micro-USB, FM radio, 3G, and 4G. Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor. Lastly, the phone comes with a 3400 mAh battery which allows the device to stay alive for a complete day even after heavy usage.
