Huawei’s flagship P series stands head and shoulders above all of its other smartphones. We simply can’t help but notice the greatness of the Huawei P10 as the smartphone is exactly what James Bond would’ve ordered; with an expected launch price of 60,000 rupees and hitting the market shelves come February 26th, the P10 is simply as good as it gets from Huawei.
The P10 is slightly different to its predecessor, the P9, both in terms of build materials and quality. While both are premium flagship style smartphones, the P10 seems to go a-tad further with its looks and an aluminum unibody design that forces you to look at the smartphone again and again. About the front panel, it was rumored that the smartphone would feature a Samsung-ish front-mounted fingerprint scanner cum home-button but that’s not the case. Instead, the company’s name sits pretty atop the front bottom bezel while the fingerprint scanner is back-mounted.
The smartphone still lags in dust/waterproofing though leading it to support a thin 7.4mm width.
Featuring a curved 5.2 inches IPS-NEO LCD capacitive touchscreen with 565ppi pixel density and Corning Gorilla Glass protection, the smartphone unsurprisingly allows a gorgeous 1440p HD resolution. The equation is simple; the P10 is a proper diva in all its glory as not only does it have the curves to completely entice you but its quality knows no bounds as well.
Continuing its honeymoon period with dual-primary camera lenses, the P10 features a 12 megapixel dual-lens primary camera. Apart from its superior dual-lens technology, features such as Leica optics, phase detection autofocus and a dual-LED flash add further prowess to an already powerful camera sensor. Its other customary features include geo-tagging, touch-focus, face detection, HDR and panorama.
The secondary camera features an 8 megapixel sensor that’s adequately poised to present you with excellent results whenever called upon.
The P10 is marketed in two variants that’re both beasts in their own right; the featherweight version features 32/64 gigs of internal storage with 4GB of RAM while the heavyweight features 128GB of internal storage with 6GB RAM, both variants coming in with a hybrid Octa-Core processor. Both the smartphones are tremendously equipped to present you with an excellent user experience atop the built-in Android Nougat.
The features don’t just end here; the smartphone features a back-mounted fingerprint reader which the company refers to as a supersonic scanner because of its lightning-fast recognition and responsiveness, fast charge technology, USB type-C and a large 3100 mAh battery that’s sure to provide you with satisfactory battery life.
