One manufacturer’s design is another manufacturer’s inspiration. Such has been the case with the Galaxy S8 being an inspiration for many smartphone designs. The iPhone X was yet to see a smartphone that would try to imitate it but wait no more; the Huawei P20 Lite aspires to be the iPhone X’s Lite version for the masses to enjoy.
Smaller notch while the rest is pretty much the same
Design wise, the P20 Lite is all iPhone X except with the exception of the notch at the smartphone’s front panel; it’s smaller than the iPhone’s while all the rest is pretty much similar with an all-glass body and an aluminum frame separating the front and back panels from any conflict. The smaller notch allows more icons to be visible on the display but we’re not sure whether it adds or subtracts to the P20 Lite’s looks.
A 7.2mm width further adds to the smartphone’s beauty.
Bigger display, badder display
It was previously expected that the smartphone would feature a 6.1 inches display. The predictions are a tad off-scale but not by a large margin as the P20 Lite would feature a 5.8 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with a 1080p HD resolution atop its display. Combining to produce excellent graphics, the P20 Lite’s bezel-less display would produce a superb Android experience atop it.
Cameras; unconfirmed as of yet
The P20 Lite’s cameras are akin to a hidden relic at the moment as we don’t know much about them. What we do know about them is the fact that the dual-primary sensor at the back-panel would come in an iPhone X like configuration with its LED flash flanking the camera setup from the bottom. Other than that, you’d have to wait to find out any details about its megapixels and other camera features that include OIS, gyro, phase detection autofocus etc.
Not much news regarding the hardware too
Like the cameras, the hardware department also presents lots of question marks. The only specifications we can mention right now are that the smartphone would come with Android Oreo out of the box, a 2900 mAh battery would juice the device, USB type-C and the headphone jack lives to see another day atop the P20 Lite.
