Infinix has promised to deliver in the smallest of budgets. That has made the company a pretty popular choice among the masses in our country. By coming-up with what they call the world’s first “wefie” smartphone, the Infinix S2, there’s little doubt that they’ll be making more waves in the local market especially considering the smatphone costs somewhere around 18,500 rupees.
Designed the Infinix way
The S2 and S2 Pro both feature a full metal design with a finely finished metallic back panel. The smartphone’s dimensions are pretty neat as well and its overall looks also mimic the Zero 4 Plus and some Lenovo devices.
Display
The smartphone features a 5.2 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 282ppi pixel density. This allows the S2 to support a 720p resolution which goes amazingly well with the 5.2 inches display. Attention to detail is pretty good and we’re positive that you’ll be happy with its performance.
Wefie time!
Not many smartphones hold the distinction of having dual-selfie sensors and the Infinix S2 is probably one of the world’s first smartphones in this category. The device features a 13 megapixel + wide-angled 8 megapixel dual selfie sensor or wefie camera. Both these sensors work in tandem to produce excellent selfies that’re rich with vivid colours and on the other hand, capture wider pictures thanks to the 8 megapixel wide-angled lens.
The device’s primary camera features a 13 megapixel sensor of its own with OIS and laser autofocus. In short, the S2’s biggest asset is undoubtedly its camera prowess.
Its other goodies include:
The smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor with 2 gigs of RAM. Android Marshmallow runs atop its somewhat powerful hardware while 16/32 gigs of variant dependent internal storage and an external card-slot are something you really need to know about. Other than these, the device shelters a 3000 mAh non-removable battery which promises good battery life while Quick Charge capability is an added bonus.
