Not playing any more games, Infinix is getting serious with its competitors in the sub-continent with its latest flagship, the Infinix Zero 5. Boasting all the features flagship smartphones of 2017 harness, the Infinix Zero 5 will be priced more affordably at roughly Rs. 32,000.
Design
As is the trend with manufacturers this year, the Infinix Zero 5 is a big phone with a huge bezel-less display. The phone is tall at 6.7 inches whilst sporting a screen of 5.98-inches. It seems like Infinix could’ve done a better job at making it more bezel-less since these dimensions mean the phone won’t be usable with one hand. Above the screen a 16MP camera sensor can be found for all your selfies. On the back we have another new mainstream feature: dual cameras, which are placed in a band that takes up the whole width of the phone at the top; giving the phone a very aesthetically pleasing look. For security, below the dual cameras a fingerprint scanner is present. The entire phone is encased in a metal unibody and the finish is very elegant.
As expected – an 18:9 display
As mentioned earlier, the Infinix Zero 5 sports a 5.98-inch FHD bezel-less display. The screen is an IPS LCD one so you’ll be getting great viewing angles and sharp images. Due to the big screen, the pixel density of the Infinix Zero 5 is relatively less than many of its competitors but by no means is it a bad display. The numbers crunch up to a 368ppi pixel density.
Dual Cameras
Being the latest phone to jump the dual camera bandwagon is the Infinix Zero 5. With a 12MP + 13MP setup, the Infinix Zero 5 will be able to take your monotone and portrait shots with bouque effects for that professional feel in your images. The aperture of the 12MP sensor is f/2.0 and features like geo-tagging, phase detection auto focus, panorama and HDR are all present on the Infinix Zero 5’s cameras. Video recording at 1080p is also available.
The front camera is a 16MP one so your selfies are bound to have great detail and depth for your social media fans to ogle over.
Hardware
Being a flagship smartphone, the Infinix Zero 5 is equipped with nothing but the best specs. The processor under the hood is the MediaTek Helio P25, a premium performance chip. With 8 cores running at 2.5GHz each the Infinix Zero 5 is no slouch. Coupled with a whopping 6GB of RAM, lag will be an issue you will never have to experience with the Infinix Zero 5. Internal storage is capped at a gargantuan 128GB; something you’ll probably never even fill up. Running Android 7.1 Nougat, you’ll have a rich user experience.
