Huawei, Lenovo, Oppo, Alcatel etc. are all focused on making life difficult for the big-boys of the smartphone world. We’re regularly getting accustomed to see some stunning releases from them. Lenovo in particular has come a long way in its quest to establish itself as a genuine force to be reckoned with primarily down to some nifty releases such as the Lenovo K6. Let’s see what the fuss is all about.

Build quality and display

The K6 is the smaller sibling of the Lenovo K6 Note. Apart from the latter featuring a larger display, there are some other notable differences between the two. However, they both feature 100% similar build quality with a full metal design that mirrors that of the Huawei Mate8 and somewhat of the HTC 10.

The display is where one or two major differences kick in as the K6 features a comparatively smaller but equally sharper 5.0 inch IPS capacitive touchscreen with 441ppi pixel density. This translates into a sharp 1080p HD resolution which will do its utter most to cater for even the tiniest of details. Stay tuned to PriceOye for its official dimensions and weight.

Cameras

The Lenovo K6’s primary camera is a little worse off than the primary camera of its larger sibling. That doesn’t necessarily mean that the camera is bad as it presents a case for itself because of a large 13 megapixel sensor with an LED flash as well as HDR and panorama shot capabilities. The front camera features an 8 megapixel sensor which is finely poised to take some nice selfies.

Hardware and software

The K6 is powered by a 1.5 GHz Octa-Core Cortex-A53 processor with 2GB of additional RAM. This means no rest for the built-in Android Marshmallow while you have the liberty to choose between 16 and 32GB internal storage. External card slot is an added bonus while you’d be pleased to hear that the K6 duly shelters a fingerprint scanner as well as Dolby Atmos Stereo speakers which ensure that your heart never skips a beat. 4 different color schemes and the 3000 mAh battery are its other notable mentions.
