Lenovo’s trying hard to make a name for itself. While we were thoroughly impressed by the ZUK Z1 they cooked-up some time ago, it remains to be seen whether the Lenovo P2 has some magic up its sleeve for a smartphone that costs just below 29,000 rupees.
Design takes inspiration from the K6 Power
Like Huawei, most of Lenovo’s devices are very similarly designed to one another so it’s hard to say from plain viewing whether the device we’re looking at is a flagship or not. The P2 features a known metal unibody design with okay-ish dimensions that include an 8.3mm width and 172g weight.
The display department holds promise as we have a 5.5 inches Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with 401ppi pixel density. Translating into a wonderful 1080p HD resolution, you’re gonna get plenty of sharp graphics atop this baby.
More goodies coming your way
The smartphone is a definite powerhouse as it features an excellent 13 megapixel primary sensor with phase detection autofocus and a dual-tone LED flash. The selfie sensor is a modest one though, at 5 megapixels, but we’re positive that they’ll both do a good job for you; especially when it comes to the primary one.
Hardware wise, we’ve ourselves a 2.0 GHz octa-core processor with either 3/4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage or 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. A front-mounted fingerprint scanner, fast battery charging and a humongous 5100 mAh battery makes the Lenovo P2 a device worth the amount you’ll be paying for it.
