After doing a magnificent job in the world of laptop manufacturing, Lenovo has turned its attention towards producing smartphones of the very same quality and stature. The ZUK Z1 received immense plaudits and that was just the beginning of a conveyer belt of excellent smartphones. Enter Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite.
Body and Display
The Vibe S1 Lite’s body is designed along similar lines of the Apple iPhone 4 and 4s with a thin metal frame separating two scratch resistant glass panels at the front and back. This look, made overwhelmingly popular by the iPhones, is once again extremely catchy on the Vibe S1 Lite and the glass panel on the back makes for a slick finish to it.
The front panel features a gorgeous display which includes a 5.0 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 1080p resolution. An excellent 441ppi pixel density rounds of a perfectly weighted display that can be considered as one of the best displays on a Lenovo device to date. Furthermore, its slender 129g weight is what caught our eye the most as this kind of mass is alien territory to such heavy specifications.
Camera
The cameras have wonderfully done their part to further enhance the status of the Vibe S1 Lite as an extremely competitive smartphone. The primary camera has an excellent 13 megapixel shutter loaded with phase detection technology, f/2.2 aperture lens and dual-tone LED flash which commands superiority in taking snaps in all sorts of conditions.
The secondary camera has a beastly 8 megapixel sensor with an LED flash. Yes! An LED flash for its front camera if you haven’t believed it yet. While Apple makes use of the screen flash to capture good quality selfies in the dark, Lenovo has altogether added a flash to put you out of this misery.
Hardware and Software
The Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite runs on a fast Octa-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A53 processor with 2GB of RAM. These two are finely poised to run the built-in Android v5.1 Lollipop and the 16GB internal storage should provide you with a lot of space to carry your goods wherever you go.
