The G series is LG’s benchmark when it comes to their smartphones and the latest increment to it has been in the form of the LG G5 SE. The LG G5 SE is equipped with monstrous specifications that make it a worthy flagship device. Its display is touted as one of the most crisp and bright displays out there and the laser powered cameras also have their tremendous share of lovers around the world.

Body and Display

The LG G5 SE comes 2 months after the release of the simple LG G5. A comparatively cheaper version of the G5, it only differs from the aforementioned smartphone by the smallest of margins. Both the smartphones feature same build quality, display sizes, display qualities etc. but it is the dimensions and weight where the G5 SE pips the simple G5. It is slimmer and lighter compared to the G5 with a 7.3mm waist plus 156g weight compared to the 7.7mm width and 159g weight of the G5.

The display features the same 5.3 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with an almighty 554ppi pixel density resulting in an astounding 1440p HD resolution. This is simply as good as anything can get.

Camera

The LG G series cameras have raised the bar with their top-notch snapping capabilities. The G5 SE carries the very same cameras from the simple G5. It comes in with a 16 megapixel, f/1.8 aperture size lens primary camera powered by laser auto-focus and OIS. The front sees an 8 megapixel, f/2.4 aperture sized secondary camera. These two are demonically strong when it comes to taking excellent pictures and recording HD videos. They will never let you down.

Hardware and Software

The LG G5 SE is a definite contender for the Mister smartphone of the year award as it is powered by a Quad-core 1.8 GHz Cortex-A72 & quad-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A53 processor with an additional 3GB of RAM. This is where we see a major difference between the G5 and G5 SE as the former houses 4GB of RAM plus greater clock speed. Nevertheless, the G5 SE will capably run the built-in Marshmallow Android and an expandable internal storage of 32GB will ensure you never run out of space.
