Highlights

LG has stamped its authority on the smartphone world through some blockbuster releases come 2016 that include the Nexus 5X, V20, G5 among many others. While these aforementioned devices sit pretty in the upper price ranges (bar Nexus 5X), LG seems to make an attempt to balance the books through the introduction of the somewhat low-key LG K10.

Build quality and display

The K10 is LG through and through. A customary G series-ish design with the volume and power buttons at the back panel is topped off by a rather big display at its front panel. The back is a tad-textured comprised entirely out of plastic while a slight tinge of metal sits pretty at the edges of the front display as well.

The K10 features a large 5.3 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display but it hasn’t been complimented that well by its 297ppi pixel density. Though this translates into a respectable 720p resolution, we’re not entirely sure about how will it manage to get on with the large display. That being said, we do have reason for optimism considering LG’s prowess in producing little out of nothing.

Cameras

The LG K10 is marketed in many different variants separated by its primary camera, RAM and processor. While we’re used to seeing variants getting distinguished through internal storages or RAMs, the K10 also features two different primary cameras for its variants. The LTE model features a 13 megapixel primary sensor with an LED flash plus a 5 or 8 megapixel selfie sensor while the 3G model features an 8 megapixel primary sensor complimented by yet again, a 5 or 8 megapixel selfie sensor.

Hardware and software

The K10 contains many variants with Quad-Core or Octa-Core processors and either 1 or 1.5 GB of RAM. Whichever variant may it be, we do expect the Android Marshmallow to lag frequently. The smartphone’s internal storage stands at 16 gigs while an external memory card slot is also available.

Not many other things to talk about like a fingerprint scanner, Fast Charge etc. but what we do know is that the smartphone comes in three different color schemes.
