Highlights

When it comes to LG producing budget or entry level smartphones, we’re not that happy with what it has cooked-up so far. They’re simply not up to the mark and the K7 2017 seems like it has followed suit with some inglorious specifications within a price-tag of 15,000 rupees.

Pretty much an ordinary entry-level phone

Like the previous LG K7, the K7 2017 springs no surprises whatsoever. The smartphone features a pretty ordinary all plastic build with a layer of chromium plated metal engulfing its front display while its dimensions, standing at an 8.1mm width and 143g weight, are fine by us for an entry-level device.

Its display features a 5.0 inches capacitive touchscreen with 190ppi pixel density. Disappointingly, we’re only seeing a lowly 480p resolution here which definitely isn’t enough to serve you some sharp and detailed graphics atop a 5.0 inches screen.

Cameras lighten the mood up a bit

The cameras department holds some good news as the primary camera features an 8 megapixel sensor while the selfie camera features a 5 megapixel one. Good, but could’ve been improved further to be honest.

Hardware

A quad-core processor with 1GB RAM powers the smartphone’s built-in Android Marshmallow while a 2500 mAh removable battery, an external card-slot up to 32GB, dual-SIM capability and two colour schemes round-off a smartphone with nothing much to offer other than its low asking price.
