Bezel-less designs are undoubtedly the thing for the future. After Samsung did it with the Galaxy S8, LG’s Q6 takes some inspiration from the South Korean giant’s flagship with some nifty overall specifications.
Similar but not completely the S8 though
The LG Q6 closely resembles the aforementioned S8 from the front because of its ultra-thin bezels. However when it comes to its back panel, we’ve observed full metal with the smartphone having an 8.1mm width and 149g weight.
Its display produces some commendable results due to the presence of a 5.5 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 442ppi pixel density. A 1080p HD resolution always promises supreme graphics so that’s pretty much what you could wish for here.
Not quite the power-packed cameras we expected
In an age where jaw-dropping amount of megapixels have become the norm, the LG Q6 stays modest in its cameras department; we’re talking a 13 megapixel primary sensor with an LED flash while the selfie sensor stands at 5 megapixels. Expected more didn’t you?
The hardware’s satisfactory
The Q6 has 3 variants all powered by a 1.4 GHz octa-core processor with the differences between them listed below:
- The most power-packed version features 64 gigs of storage with 4GB RAM
- A 32GB internal storage plus 3GB RAM variant
- Finally, a 16GB internal storage plus 2GB variant
USB type-C, a non-removable 3000 mAh battery and 4 colour schemes brings us to the end of the LG Q6.
