Unlike Samsung who has a knack of bulldozing newer and newer devices throughout the year, LG goes dormant for periods of time and then reintroduces itself with a bang. Well almost every time. This time, we have the LG Q8 in focus which calls itself to be a flagship with some excellent specifications up its sleeve for a launching price-tag of 70,000 rupees.

The smartphone’s a slightly toned-down version of the V20

You’ll have a hard time finding differences between the LG V20 and Q8 as both the smartphones feature a lot of similar specifications that include an all metal build. Its 8mm width is within the realms of acceptability while its weight at 146g is extremely well distributed without any doubts whatsoever.

A 5.2 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with a 564ppi pixel density is further glossed by Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. A 1080p HD resolution awaits you.

Dual-primary camera sensors are turning into LG’s thing; the Q8 features a 13 + 8 megapixel sensor with OIS and laser autofocus. That’s excellent in its own right but unfortunately, LG simply won’t budge with their selfie sensors with the smartphone featuring a rather tame 5 megapixel one.

All you can need!

With an octa-core processor, 4 gigs of RAM, 32GB internal storage, USB type-C, fingerprint scanner and a 3000 mAh non-removable battery, the LG Q8 offers all you can need.
