Lumia 920 is Nokia’s third jab at making a flagship Windows Phone and Nokia has thrown everything it has for making the 920 a hit phone. It packs a big beautiful 720p PureMotionHD+ capacitive touch screen that is one of the best we have seen on a smartphone. The use Corning’s Gorilla Glass 2 helps to keep it scratch-free. Additionally, the use of ClearBlack technology makes the blacks appear much more darker while the sunlight visibility won’t be an issue given the bright colors of this awesome display. The Lumia 920 also has a very unique design and the particular white color of this phone is really eye-catching. Nokia has kept the traditional rectangular design of the Lumia family which isn’t a bad thing at all as the unibody polycarbonate design is really one of a kind.

Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8 OS has evolved to become one of the most advanced smartphone OS’s of today and thanks to a couple of additions by the Finnish company like Nokia Transit, Nokia Drive, Nokia City Lens and Nokia Music, the experience on the Lumia 920 is even better.

The 8.7 Megapixel camera uses Carl Zeiuss lens and also Nokia’s PureView technology which outputs amazing results, especially in low-light situations. Other features include, 4x optical zoom for taking close-up pictures, a dual LED flash for taking pictures in the dark and a front facing camera for taking self-portraits and doing video calls.

This phone boasts a beastly 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM to make multitasking and gaming a breeze. It is powered by a 2000 mAh battery to give you upto 18 hours of talktime on 2G/10 hours on 3G and a standby time of around 486 hours.

Connectivity features include EDGE, GPRS, 3G and Wi-Fi to keep you connected on the go. Along with that, the built-in apps for Facebook, Twitter and IE10 make socialising as well as surfing the web a pleasure.

All in all, the Nokia Lumia 920 is a great phone that performs well in each category, whether it be the standout design, the gorgeous HD screen or the snappy performance.
