We all know what’s the deal with Oppo; the company’s doing a stellar job when it comes to producing smartphones of great caliber within affordable prices. Its A series hosts a plethora of splendid smartphones with the Oppo A79 being the latest of the lot with the smartphone housing some brilliant specifications within an excellent price-tag of Rs. 40,000.
Oppo’s doing somewhat of a Samsung with its devices; fortunately with the Oppo A79, things are somewhat different as the smartphone features a sleek metal unibody design that’s well complimented by its bezel-less front panel. Other than that, the device’s width is excellent while its weight and build quality deserves applause as well.
Two of Oppo’s smartphones’ most notable characteristics are their large camera sensors and excellent displays. The same is the case with the Oppo A79 as the smartphone features a large 6.0 inches IPS LCD/OLED capacitive touchscreen with 428ppi pixel density. Translating into a 1080p HD resolution, this perfect combination of a large display and HD quality will surely prove to be your best mate in times of entertainment.
Oppo’s devices just have to feature excellent camera sensors; they’re definitely a cornerstone to Oppo’s philosophy. The A79 un-expectedly features a large 16 megapixel single-lens primary sensor with phase detection autofocus, LED flash, geo-tagging, touch-focus, HDR and panorama. When we say unexpectedly, we meant that the norm in 2018 always suggests dual-primary sensors but the A79 suggests otherwise.
The selfie sensor stands on par with its primary counterpart which isn’t the case with many smartphones out there. That’s because it features a gigantic 16 megapixel sensor of its own that’s fully capable of providing and even beating the best of primary sensors out there in the market. Beware everyone!
The Oppo A79 is powered by a 2.5 GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 processor with an additional 4 gigs of RAM. That’s exactly what the built-in Android Nougat ordered as a combination of these two would produce a seamless experience atop the most demanding mobile OS. With regards to the smartphone’s internal storage, the A79 features 64 gigs of it. An external card-slot allows further expansion of it so you’d likely never run out of storage space ever again.
A rear-mounted fingerprint scanner which is mostly the case with bezel-less front panels, dual-SIM capability, black and gold colour schemes and a non-removable 3000 mAh battery are its other notable mentions. Pretty much everything you’d want from a 2018 smartphone right?
