Oppo is doing a commendable job when it comes to manufacturing some excellent devices. Smartphones such as the N3, F1 etc. have gained prominence among the Pakistani public due to their large set of delicious features. The F1s or the “selfie expert” is sure to keep that success brewing as this bad boy also comes in with some immaculate specifications that make it a genuine force to be reckoned with.
Build quality and display
Oppo has never shied away from using premium build quality materials for its releases. The R1s features an impressive build that has its fair share of similarities with the iPhone 6S. The overall look of the smartphone also mirrors that to the aforementioned iPhone which makes it a beautiful prospect to look at.
Speaking of its display, the smartphone features a 5.5 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 267ppi pixel density. This translates into a 720p resolution which might not be a 100% crisp on the gigantic display. Its dimensions however, do not leave any room for complaints with a 7.4mm width and its 160g weight, which may seem a little overweight, can be attributed to its larger battery.
Cameras
The F series has mostly made the cameras their safe house. Such is also the case with the Oppo R1s. This is probably the first or second time we’ve seen a larger selfie sensor compared to its primary counterpart hence the name “selfie expert”. Statistically, the selfie camera has a jaw-dropping 16 megapixel sensor with superb snapping qualities because of its large pixel capacity. The primary sensor on the other hand features a 13 megapixel sensor with phase detection autofocus meaning that it’ll be very hard for you to find a smartphone with cameras that can outsmart the F1s’s cameras.
Hardware and software
The F1s is power aplenty; the smartphone is powered by an Octa-Core 1.5 GHz processor with 3GB of RAM. Quite the muscle required to efficiently run the built-in Android Lollipop while its internal storage banks in at a satisfying 32GB. A fingerprint sensor embedded into the home key, a large 3075 mAh battery, excellent speaker quality and dual-SIM support round-off the Oppo F1s in some style.
