Is Oppo R17 Waterproof and Dustproof?

Unfortunately, as exceptional and exciting this mobile phone is, we will most definitely advise you to be extra careful with its handling on a sunny day on the beach. The reason for that being the fact the Oppo R17 is not waterproof. This is a huge downer for sure because other companies are heavily focusing on creating smartphones which are waterproof. The phone will, however, do well against scratches and other damages as it rocks a screen with Corning Gorilla 6 Glass.

The Phone's design also happens to be exquisite and will prove to be a fascinating experience for most users.

How many colors is Oppo R17 available in?

The Oppo R17 is available in two beautiful and stunning colors but there is a significant problem. These are more or less the same colors which were made available for the Huawei Mate 20 Pro which was released prior to the Oppo R17. There is nothing unusual about the colors, as far as the colors are actually concerned, the colors available are Gradient Mist and Green.

Does Oppo R17 support Fast Charging?

The battery capacity of the Oppo R17 is around 3500mAh and yes it does support fast charging. The way Oppo explains it is that they have put two separate batteries of 1750mAh in the phone which operate in order to give the optimum battery experience to the user. It offers up to 15-16 hours of screen time at full charge with multi-tasking and takes about 40-60 minutes average to charge the whole battery.

Differences Between Oppo R17 and R17 Pro:

The premium difference between Oppo R17 and R17 Pro is of the price and the battery, there are some minor changes to the camera but otherwise, they more or less happen to be the same phone. So be cautious and do your research well before buying any one of these. The pro version does not support the 3.5mm jack which happens to be a trend of all the new flagship models but if you prefer it old school, go for R17. It's simpler and there is not a substantial amount of difference between these two phones
