Due to the immense success of some value-for-money Infinix smartphones a.k.a Infinix Hot 4, many other smartphone manufacturers especially QMobile have been forced to step-up their game. By coming up with the Energy X2 whose expected to hit the shelves in mid-February 2017 with an expected launch price of 12,250 rupees, QMobile may expect to gain some sort of momentum going forward.
The QMobile Energy X2 is related to the Energy X1.
Nothing “wow” about the display and build
Well, when it comes to the display, the smartphone does feature an adequately sized 5.0 inches touchscreen but its 240ppi pixel density is a real buzz-kill. That’s because you only get 540p resolution due to its lowly pixel density while its removable plastic back panel houses a fine matt-finished exterior. The 9.3mm width and 184g weight might not be what you wanted to hear as well.
Cameras: the strongest point of the Energy X2
Indeed they are; the Energy X2 features two large camera sensors with the primary camera featuring an 8 megapixel one while the secondary sensor features 5 megapixels worth of power. Quite some value there for 12,000 rupees when it comes to the cameras.
Much improved performance
That’s because other than featuring a Quad-Core processor, the smartphone contains 2 gigs of RAM. Normally you won’t get to see many smartphones within this price holding such amount of RAM so we’ll rate the smartphone’s performance highly albeit we do expect it to lag very occasionally. Its internal storage banks at 16 gigs while a gigantic 5000 mAh battery should provide excellent battery life.
