QMobile is not one to shy away from releasing a number of phones every now and then. This time we have the QMobile Noir M99, a budget phone priced at Rs. 11,800.
Design, Screen and Cameras
The QMobile M99 is a really bland phone with a rectangular design. It’s pretty thick at 9.6mm. The front of the phone is occupied by a 5-inch 720p IPS LCD display. That equates to a pixel density of 294ppi. There are big bezels on both the top and bottom of the phone as well. The front facing camera is a 5MP snapper whereas the main rear camera is an 8MP camera. The main camera is coupled with an LED flash for low light photography. There’s no fingerprint scanner in this budget phone.
Hardware
The hardware in the M99 is very basic, exactly what you’d expect at this price. There’s 2GB of RAM on board, the only good thing about the hardware. Besides that, there is 16GB of internal memory which can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. The processor in the QMobile M99 is a quad core MediaTek MT6580 chipset. The best feature of the M99 is its huge battery: a 4000mAh cell to get you through 2 days of use. Finely poised there M99 but it falls just a little short of a century as its name suggests.
