Despite the presence of the most well-known smartphone manufacturers in the world, QMobile is doing its utmost to keep itself alive in the Pakistani market. After going through a golden time during its inception and then hitting a roadblock, the company is regaining its foothold in the market through some excellent releases that have thoroughly impressed us. Let’s see if the upcoming Noir S6s is one of those.
Build quality and display
The Noir S6s is meant to target the budget smartphones category. That automatically means that the smartphone will lose out on a lot but value for money smartphones are lauded more for what they offer rather than being criticized for not offering high-end specs. The device is different only to its larger sibling, the Noir S6 Plus, in terms of its screen size but contains the same metal-looking plastic back panel among all other specs.
The front panel features a 5 inches capacitive touchscreen with 720p resolution. Compared to the larger device, the Noir S6s will provide a better graphical experience as 720ps do tend to go well with 5 inches displays.
Cameras
The cameras department is where QMobile has vastly improved in the previous years due to thinking out of the box and extending its friendship with larger sensors. Such is not the case with the Noir S6s though but again, its value for money tag is back to its rescue. The device features an 8 megapixel primary sensor while the front features a 5 megapixel one. We’re optimistic though that both the cameras will perform well enough considering the screen size of the Noir S6s.
Hardware and software
Whilst previously not being considered as the most generous of smartphone manufacturers with its hardware, the company is slowly coming out of age and doing its bid to lose that tag. The S6s features a Quad-Core processor with an additional 2GB of RAM. This is music to the ears considering you’ll be paying just under 12000 rupees for this smartphone but one thing’s for sure that the built-in Android Marshmallow won’t run lag-free.
Other than that, fingerprint scanner and the same 2500 mAh battery from the Noir S6 Plus are its other notable mentions.
