Seems like finally, QMobile has had enough of cheap releases. It now has decided to up its game and establish itself as a genuine force in the Pakistani market. If they’ll keep up with the way they’ve assembled the Noir Z12 Pro, things look increasingly prosperous for the company sooner rather than later.
Build quality and display
Upon our first glance of the smartphone, we hardly believed that QMobile came up with something as premium as the Z12 Pro. This was made possible by its superb build quality that mirrors the Lenovo K6 and K6 Note while also shows shades of some Huawei phones. Its build features a fully metallic back and side skirts while the customary glass panel sits pretty at its front.
Speaking of the glass panel, a 5.5 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 401ppi pixel density resides underneath it. That translates into a wonderful 1080p HD resolution which is excellent news for a smartphone that is available for as low as 19,000 rupees. The smartphone weighs in at 166g while being 8.3mm at its thickest. This seems a tad more on paper but its metallic build should keep you happy nevertheless.
Cameras
While we’ll stop short of saying that QMobile’s cameras have always performed well, we’re optimistic that the Z12 Pro’s cameras will prove us wrong. This is because the primary camera features a 13 megapixel sensor with phase detection autofocus technology. The front camera features an 8 megapixel sensor with an LED flash which makes for beautiful photography from the back and front cameras a more likely prospect than previously imagined.
Hardware and software
Finally, the company has stopped being greedy with hardware in its devices. The Z12 Pro features a delicious combination of a 1.3 GHz Octa-Core Cortex processor with an additional 3GB of RAM. We’re very satisfied by this amount of power on paper and there’s no reason to believe that the built-in Android Marshmallow wouldn’t run smoothly.
Internal storage stands at a whopping 32GB while an external card slot is also present. Fingerprint sensor is a must while the 3150 mAh battery seems finely poised to provide you with ample battery time. Now this is good value for money from QMobile!
