The QMobile Noir S8 is not to be mistaken for a flagship, as misleading as the name sounds because the phone is as budget friendly as they come. Costing you Rs. 11,000 the QMobile Noir S8 has all the basic essentials a smartphone could have.
No Infinity Display or glass backs here folks
Unlike the Galaxy S8, the QMobile Noir S8 is made of metal and not glass. A similar difference is seen in the screen and bezels department. No bezel-less Quad HD Infinity Display here, just your standard 5-inch 720p IPS LCD screen. However, it does have a 2.5D curved sedge glass for that gimmicky premium look.
Budget cameras, what more did you expect?
To no surprise of anybody, the Noir S8 is packing an 8MP front camera with an LED flash and a 5MP front one for the selfie aficionados. Face detection, geo-tagging and panorama features are all on board too making the cameras category one of its biggest reasons to feel happy about.
Hardware
Equipped with today’s minimum standard of 2GB RAM, don’t expect the Noir S8 to be fluid since it’s running on Android 7.1.1 on top of its own personal skin. 16GB of internal storage is available with the option to expand via a microSD card. The battery maxes out at 2400mAh so don’t expect more than a day usage with this phone.
