Just when we thought Samsung had enough of making spectacular phones, they go on and release yet another masterpiece. The Samsung Galaxy A40s is a much more compact, upgraded version of the previously released Samsung Galaxy A40. This time around, Samsung has thrown everything they possibly could to make this phone a real winner.
Samsung A40 met its fair share of criticism after being released in Pakistan. The phone was generally received as a knockoff for the S series, without offering the value of the said series.
The Galaxy A50, A60 were very well received, especially considering the fact that the company was hellbent on providing some sort of value within the A series as well.
However, Galaxy A40s was a pretty decent and successful attempt to capture some of the former glory of the Galaxy A series.
Samsung A40s vs. Samsung A40:
The Samsung Galaxy A40 was released in March 2019, the A40s is yet to be released in the Pakistani market but it has already made a lot of buzz in the market. Although the A40s maybe charging an odd 20,000 Rupees more than the Galaxy A40 but it has some very good reasons to ask for that price.
One thing that Samsung has learnt from their past mistakes is to release variants for the same phone, and the same case is for A40s. The phone comes in 4,6 and 8 GB of RAM.
The phone also comes with a storage option of 64/128 GB with an additional dedicated card slot which can store upto 512 GB of storage.
Samsung A50:
The Samsung Galaxy A50 is another beast in total. It was one of the best rated phones critically in 2019 and also one of the most profitable phones in the Galaxy A series. Compared to the Galaxy A40s, we would definitely recommend you to go and get the Galaxy A50 without thinking twice. The only advantage that you would get while going for the Galaxy A40s in comparison to the Samsung Galaxy A50 is the fact that you would get some additional storage, a relatively better RAM and fast charging. Trust our word when we say that it is not at all worth going for the Galaxy A40s, when a cheaper, more compact and reliable option is available in the face of the Samsung Galaxy A50!
