  • Great Specs For A Low Price, Interesting Design

The Sony Xperia Miro is Sony’s another jab at the low-end Android market by bringing considerably good specs and an interesting design for such a small price tag. The design of this phone especially impressed us by bringing a sleek and stylish finish while the curved-chin at the bottom really gave it a unique look. As far as the screen is concerned, there is a 3.5 Inch 320 x 480 screen in the Miro that also includes a scratch-resistant glass and an anti-reflective covering for better viewing angles outdoors. Also, this small portable design is the main reason for making this phone as light as a writing pad, 110g to be exact.

It runs on Android 4.0 ICS by default which is the latest you can get on a phone of this price range. It hasn’t been tweaked much, save for a futuristic home screen look and a handful of Sony-specific apps.

There are also two cameras on this phone: a 5 MP Autofocus Camera With LED Flash that catches surprisingly good photos for a budget phone. There is also a VGA front camera allowing you to make video calls as well as take self-shots.

Powered by a 1500 mAh battery, the Xperia Miro boasts a 800 MHz Cortex-A5 processor and 512 MB of RAM. This’ll ensure smooth running of the Android OS and will also provide you with a standby time of upto 470 hours and talktime of 5 hours on 2G/6 hours on 3G.

Like to be connected to the internet the go? Well there are all the basic connectivity features like GPRS, GPS, EDGE, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to ensure that.
