Tackling the cheap lower-end Android market, Sony Xperia Tipo really impresses by the fact that it comes with Android 4 ICS OS at a very affordable price tag. This compact little phone packs in much more than you’d expect from a phone this small. It also has some great build quality with its tactile, soft, round-edged matte coating that feels slightly rubberised, making it pleasingly pebble-like to hold. The Tipo also has a 3.2 Inch 320 x 480 TFT capacitive touchscreen with a fairly decent ppi of 180.

One main selling point about his phone is its Android 4.0.4 ICS OS that beats other low-price phones which come with Android 2.3 Gingerbread. This is certainly the best part about the Tipo. A few widget and app additions by Sony also come in handy sometimes.

A 800 MHz processor runs this phone coupled with 512 MB of RAM which are good enough to operate this tiny little phone. On the upper side, a 1500 mAh battery in the Tipo is responsible for giving a very decent battery life.

The Sony Xperia Tipo also holds all the connectivity features you’d expect from a smartphone like GPRS, GPS, EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
