Vivo’s another aspiring Chinese manufacturer that aims to win the hearts of the Pakistani public with some amazing, value for money releases. The Y66 is another one of its prodigious sons who’d definitely do well in our local market thanks to its excellent specifications in exchange for an affordable price-tag of 25,000 rupees.
Dated design with a large display
The smartphone is a close relative of its sibling, the V5 Lite, with not much of a difference between the two smartphones. The device features a slender, all metal design with slim dimensions that go well with the smartphone’s plain exterior.
Like most other Vivo devices, the Y66 features a 5.5 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 267ppi pixel density. With that, you’re promised a 720 resolution which gives the display good grades overall.
Simply no holding back with the camera sensors
Featuring a large 13 megapixel sensor with an LED flash and an even larger 16 megapixel selfie camera whom the company is marketing as the “moonlight sensor” because of its excellent low-light prowess, the Y66’s cameras are a big reason to smile about.
Same goes for its hardware
Powered by an octa-core processor and 3 gigs of RAM, that’s pretty much all the built-in Android Marshmallow needs to run finely. Its Funtouch OS is pretty much a copy of Apple’s iOS while 32 gigs of internal storage, external card-slot, dual-SIM capability and a 3000 mAh battery rounding-off the Y66.
