Vivo’s upping its game in our local market with some splendid devices that are giving the value for money smartphone manufacturers something to think about. The Vivo Y69 is another commendable attention to its increasing number of devices with the smartphone featuring a launching price-tag of 27,000 rupees.
Looks wise, seems like an iPhone 7
If you ignore the smartphone’s front-mounted fingerprint scanner, the Y69 looks a lot like the iPhone 7; featuring an all metal unibody design with some sleek dimensions that include a 7.7mm width and 162g weight, the Y69 looks and feels really good.
For the large screen hopefuls, the smartphone features a 5.5 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 267ppi pixel density. Translating into a 720p resolution, maybe it’s not the 1080p HD resolution you were hoping for but it’s still okay nevertheless.
Selfie camera’s bigger than the primary one
The device features a 16 megapixel selfie sensor while the primary camera features a relatively smaller 13 megapixel sensor. So to sum the Y69 up, it’s more of a selfie phone.
Glorious hardware
The smartphone’s built-in Android Nougat is powered by an octa-core processor with 3 gigs of RAM. Its internal storage stands at a respectable 32GB while a front-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3000 mAh non-removable battery, dual-SIM, external card-slot and two colour schemes ending the Y69 with some flair.
