The Xiaomi Mi A1 was one of the best smartphones of 2017 due to what it brought to the table in the most affordable of prices. Its specifications were immaculate and price-tag, very low. It was hard to fathom how will Xiaomi be able to improve upon the Mi A1 but here we have it; the might Mi A2 is upon us with a launching price tag of Rs. 32,000.

Beautifully designed, aesthetically built

On first sightings, we found the Mi A2 to be a splendid piece of creation. It looks like a fine mixture of the iPhone X from behind while the front panel mimics another famous Xiaomi commodity in the Redmi 5+. Featuring an entirely aluminum unibody design, the Mi A2 is as pleasing to the eye as a mermaid. Its dimensions standing at a 7.3mm width and 168g weight are outstanding and finely compliment the smartphone’s all-round aesthetics.

Large display with large quality

The Mi A2 features a large 5.99 inches LTPS IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 403ppi pixel density. The 18:9 aspect ratio display supports a colossal 1080p HD resolution that would rattle your eyes to its each and every rod and cone meaning that the smartphone isn’t just about the quantitative side of things but it also guarantees lots of quality as well. Period!

Bigger than the display is the power that resides in the Mi A2’s cameras

If you thought that the smartphone’s display was its biggest asset, just wait until you get to know what’s inside its cameras; the primary camera features a miracle-like 12 + 20MP dual sensor equipped with phase detection autofocus, 2x optical zoom and an LED flash. The optical zoom allows twice as much zooming capability compared to other normal phones without the megapixels having to break lots of sweat.

The selfie camera stands toe to toe with its primary counterpart with the smartphone featuring a 20MP snapper. That’s even bigger than most of primary cameras you can find in the market at the moment. The cameras department is therefore, one of the biggest plusses of the Mi A2 making the smartphone not only attractive to the big screen lovers but also the camera crazy.

Hardware in beast mode

The Mi A2 is a beast through and through; the smartphone features top-drawer specifications in all departments and its hardware category makes you go even more nuts. The smartphone is marketed in three variants with all of them imploring an octa-core processor to smoothly run the built-in Android Oreo. The variants are as follows:

128GB internal storage + 6GB RAM
64GB internal storage + 6GB RAM
64GB internal storage + 4GB RAM

As is evident from the numbers above, all three variants are as powerful as anything can get. Not just this but within an outlay of Rs. 32,000 you’ll also get Quick Charge 3.0, a responsive rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB type-C, dual-SIM capability, expandable storage up to 256GB and a 3010 mAh non-removable battery.

Last but not the least, the Mi A2 comes in 5 different skins namely Blue, Gold, Red, Silver and Black.

Xiaomi Mi A2 pros:

The Mi A2 is one of the best all-round smartphones within this price. From looks to performance, you’ll have a hard time finding someone on par with it within the price it commands. Make no mistake about that!
