It is undoubted that Samsung is the king of phablet phones in the premium segment. But what about those who can’t afford 1 lakh rupee Notes? Que the Xiaomi Mi Max series, and in this case, the Mi Max 3 in particular. With a price tag of Rs 35,000.
Larger than life display with all of 2017’s quirks
The Mi Max series is known for its outrageously huge screens, with the original and 2nd iteration both sported 6.44-inch screens. The Mi Max 3 takes it up a notch and sports a 7-inch FullView display with extremely thin bezels. The resolution is FHD+ so the pixel density is still a decent 345ppi.
There is a dual 12MP camera setup on the back and a 5MP one on the front. The fingerprint scanner is on the back towards the upper middle. 4k video recording is also available.
Hardware
The hardware of the Mi Max 3 consists of 4GB of RAM coupled either 32GB/64GB/128GB of internal storage, all versions having a memory card slot. Besides the storage options, there will be two versions of the Mi Max 3, one with the Snapdragon 630 as the processor and the other with the Snapdragon 660. The battery is an unrealistically massive 5500mAh cell to keep you powered for probably even more than 2 days. The Mi Max 3 comes with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.
