As the fourth globally leading manufacturer of smartphones, Xiaomi has built quite a good reputation in the tech world. From its first model introduced back in 2011 to the latest launch, the company only continues to elevate its standards.

Xiaomi Redmi 8A is yet another example of the phenomenal mid-range phones manufactured by the Chinese company. Released in September 2019, Xiaomi Redmi 8A is one of the latest, high-tech, and pocket-friendly phones that you can get your hands on. Continue reading to discover more about this masterpiece.

Robust Built

In terms of design and built, the Xiaomi Redmi 8A has a modish yet robust built. It weighs around 188 grams and hence feels a bit heavy when held for longer periods. However, the weight, along with the hard plastic body guarantees the sturdiness of the device.

It may not be entirely waterproof but can certainly withstand splashes with its splash-resistant nano-coating by P2i. Furthermore, to eliminate any chances of the phone slipping off from your hands, the back features an Aura Wave Grip Design, which is a wave-like design. It adds to the radiant beauty of the handset and serves as a protective feature.

Defined Display

Although Xiaomi Redmi 8A features a low pixel density for the modern times, it seems to serve perfectly for its 6.22-inch wide 270 PPI IPS LCD screen. The 1520 x 720 resolution gives fairly sharp images and impressive video quality.

Perhaps, it is the wide 6.22-inch size of the screen that brings the energy and vibrancy of the media displayed on your phone to life. The brightness settings and contrast functions are such that they protect your eyes even at their maximum (for example, there's no blinding brightness when indoors).

Great Capture

Next up, is yet another interesting feature that makes the model only even more worth-buying. Xiaomi Redmi 8A comes with a 12MP back and 8MP front camera. Both of these capture your moments as vibrantly as they originally are and do not miss even the slightest of details. The back camera also comes with additional features like HDR, Panorama, and LED flash.

Large Battery & Phenomenal Performance

Perhaps, the most astonishing aspect of Xiaomi Redmi 8A is its battery. It comes packed with a non-removable 5000mAh lithium-ion battery. Hence, the handset is capable of eradicating all your charge related worries.

On average use, and with full-charge, the device lasts an entire day. Moreover, its fast charging feature allows it to get charged fully in a matter of three hours only.

Lastly, it comes with a super-efficient Octa-core processor, Qualcomm SDM 439 Snapdragon Chipset, and operates on Android 9.0. The combination may not be the best for those who have high expectations from their smartphones, but it certainly is the best for the price!
