HTC isn’t done just yet despite the fact that it has already released the HTC 10 and now the Taiwanese giants are shifting their attention back to the Desire series; soon we’ll be seeing the most powerful Desire smartphone ever and there’s nothing that can take that title away from the new HTC Desire 10 Pro.
Build quality and display
The Desire series has never been a fan of metal to ensure that its prices align with the mid to upper-mid price brackets and the Desire 10 Pro is no different. Despite featuring a polycarbonate back, the smartphone looks premium enough while the metallic frame separating the front and glass panels always adds to the beauty of a smartphone. However, the antenna bands are back which are a distraction especially on the black Desire 10 Pro.
Its dimensions are pretty sleek despite the presence of a very large display and battery. The smartphone features a 5.5 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 400ppi pixel density. This results in an excellent 1080p HD resolution which makes the HTC Sense UI look all the more stunning. Corning Gorilla Glass protection is another noteworthy mention before we go on to reveal that the smartphone features a 7.9mm width and weighs in at 165g.
Cameras
The HTC Desire 10 Pro’s primary camera perfectly resembles a fish eye because of large round lens. That being said, there’s no denying the camera its rightful respect as it features a large 20 megapixel sensor with laser autofocus and a dual-tone LED flash. Its selfie camera is probably one of the biggest sensors we’ve seen on the frontier of a smartphone with the HTC Desire Eye (a whopping 13 megapixels!) so the Desire Pro 10 duly ensures all your photographic desires are catered for to the fullest.
Hardware and software
The Desire 10 Pro is powered by an Octa-Core processor with 4GB of RAM standing in guard. Beware Android Marshmallow! Its internal storage stands at 64GB which is excellent news while the Nexus 5X-ish fingerprint sensor at the back panel, Fast Charge technology and a large 3000 mAh battery are its other crowning features.
