Huawei launched three flagship smartphones that include the Mate 10 Lite, Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro in October 2017. These phones are still one of the customer favourites because they have good features at an affordable pricepoint. Mate 10 Lite is the cheapest amongst all of them, however, by no means will it be a budget phone as Huawei mate 10 lite price in Pakistan is at Rs.45000 mark. It got down to 32,000 by March 2018 but after the taxes, the prices rose again. The price is justified as its specifications rival the very best smartphones in the market.
Huawei Mate 10 Lite features a sleek metal body with curved edges. Following the new trend set by flagships nowadays, it houses a bezel-less display with 18:9 aspect ratios and an impressive screen to body ratio of 78%. The fingerprint scanner is placed at the back below the vertically placed dual-sensor camera. The arrangement of the speaker, USB Type-C port and the antenna is similar to that of the iPhone 7. What sets it apart though, is the bigger display.
Huawei Mate 10 lite features 5.9 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The screen features 2.5D curved edges with a maximum resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels made possible by a pixel density of 409ppi. The display will be able to display images and movies with noticeable sharpness and precision.
The highlight feature of the Huawei Mate 10 Lite is its cameras; the phone is bummed for the first time with the dual cameras, both on its rear and front panels. It has a primary 16 MP shooter plus a supporting 2 MP snapper for 2x optical zoom. Featuring an LED flash and phase detection autofocus, the camera package also includes customary features such as geo-tagging, touch focus, face/smile detection, panorama and HDR. The primary sensor can record videos at 1080p resolution at 30fps.
Huawei Mate 10 Lite seems to be very appealing to all those selfie lovers out there because of its dual lens front-facing camera with an LED flash like the Oppo f3 Plus. The camera feature a massive 13 MP primary sensor with a 2 MP supporting sensor for wide-angled snapping. Bazookas all around the place ladies and gentlemen.
The Huawei Mate 10 Lite is powered by Kirin 659 chipset embedded with 2.36 GHz and 1.7 GHz Octa-core processors supported by 4GB of RAM. With Android 8.0 Oreo as its designated OS, all your regular mobile tasks would definitely feature no lag at all. Gaming experience atop the smartphone is excellent as they run smoothly without any noticeable frame drop. When it comes to the storage, the device checks all the boxes with a 64GB of internal storage with up to 256GB of optional expandable storage.
The Huawei Mate 10 Lite has a good battery size of 3340mAh; combining that with Kirin power efficiency, one may expect to have a battery life of a full day subject to frequency of use that is.
