Let us start off by saying that you can compare both phones for yourself here. These phones are absolutely gorgeous to look at and at the same time offer some of the most remarkable features available in the market now.
With that said and done, there are still a lot of dissection that needs to be done, The Huawei Mate 20 Pro is slightly more expensive than the original Huawei Mate 20, which surely means that if you can pay some extra rupees for this phone, it will be a worthwhile experience. The Mate 20 Pro comes in 2 variants, one of which has 8GB RAM and the other one has 6GB RAM while the Mate 20 only rocks 6GB RAM. The Mate 20 Pro can also offer more storage of data as compared to the original Mate 20 and offers more 2-3 more colors. It tremendously improves some of the camera flaws which users reported in the Mate 20 device and also packs an important and worthy battery update.
Mate 20 offers the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection which is a little disappointing especially considering the fact that Corning Gorilla 6 was available in the competing phones. Still, the Mate 20 Pro offers some of the most stunning design concepts that are introduced in 2018. A 6.39” inch AMOLED curved screen display is still the flagship design available in the market. If you are someone who opts phones based on the way they look and their design, there is absolutely nothing better on the market.
Mate 20 Pro's camera is everything a photographer wants on his own. It comes with a triple camera setup with DUAL-LED flashbacks, all packed in a small box which will be the benchmark design for further Huawei Mate 20 models. The front camera is a massive 24MP but lacks the autofocus feature most famously introduced by Oppo and perfected in the Oppo F9. The back camera is absolutely legendary and no one will say otherwise. 40 Megapixels with shots to go in daylight and nightlight. An additional bonus to the ultra-wide-angle camera, Huawei is making sure that everyone who puts their hands on this phone will be able to shoot some impressive macro shots.
In short, if you travel a lot and happen to be an adventurer who likes to grab perfect shots and snaps, you will not get a better camera than the Mate 20 Pro. Sure it has its flaws but still manages to offer something new and exciting.
Of the Mate 20 series, there are only but a handful of variants. You can check out Huawei Mate 20 lite, Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro and Mate 20 X. Others will shortly follow.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro comes with the all-new Android 9 Pie support and the processor Kirin 980 chipset AI along with 8GBs of RAM which gives beastly performances for the user.
