Chinese manufacturers are no longer frowned upon as they’ve recently proven themselves to be equally capable as the big boys. Their value for money prowess has indeed propelled them to the very top of the smartphone food-chain and thankfully one of their most well-known siblings Infinix markets its products in Pakistan. Time to enlighten you about one of its most anticipated releases in the form of the Infinix Note 3 Pro.
Build quality and display
This smartphone seems completely inspired by Huawei as it’s very similar to many of their devices mostly noticeably with the Honor 4C. The front features a large display but without the three capacitive buttons on the bottom bezel while the back features 100% plastic albeit in a finely finished way.
The display is a 6.0 inches FHD IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 480ppi pixel density. In short, 1080p HD resolution is a must which makes the Note 3 Pro’s credential rise above the rest. Nothing as such as Corning Gorilla Glass though but it’ll still prove to be tough nut to crack.
Cameras
As big as its display size is, the device’s primary camera sensor does its best to match that. Statistically speaking, it features a large 13 megapixel sensor with a dual-tone LED flash. Unfortunately no OIS or phase detection etc. to talk about which was something more or less expected anyway.
The selfie camera, at 5 megapixels, may not go very well with the large 6.0 inches display so we’ll have to rely on user reviews to give our take on that.
Hardware and software
The Note 3 Pro is as big as a smartphone can get. That means it does require good amount of processing power underneath its hood which seems has been duly provided because of a 1.3 GHz Octa-Core processor with an additional 3GB of RAM. We’ve absolutely no reservations about the smartphone’s power and the built-in Android Marshmallow is fully in agreement with us.
The smartphone features two internal storage variants at 16/32 gigs while you’ll also get a large 4500 mAh battery and fingerprint scanner within a sumptuous expected price of just over 20,000 rupees as well.
