Infinix has been releasing phone after phone in Pakistan, and we believe the reaction is rather positive. We’ve always seen a good response from the online community. Daraz and other stores always note high number of Infinix phones sold whenever they host a sale. Let’s discuss their Zero 3 phone.
Body & Display
For a budget, Rs. 20K phone, Infinix’s phones have always had nice designs. The Zero 3 is no different with its slim aluminum body. It has a large 5.5” Full HD 1080p LCD display.
Camera
The stand-out feature of the Zero 3 is no doubt its camera. One just doesn’t expect Rs. 20,000 phones to have great cameras but the Zero 3 delivers with a 20MP Sony camera with all the biggest features like phase detection autofocus, HDR, etc. along with a 5MP front-facing camera. For this price, we don’t think you’ll find a better cameraphone anywhere.
Hardware Performance
Infinix opted for a MediaTek octa-core chip running at 2.2GHz for the Zero 3. It’s no Snapdragon 820, certainly, but you can’t really complain when paired with the 3GB of RAM. 16GB internal storage for this price is also reasonable. It is expandable using a microSD slot. We’re impressed by the 3,000mAh battery which is more than the average for both this size and price!
No Rs. 15,000+ phone is complete without 4G connectivity, and the Infinix Zero 3 delivers on this end. The rest of connectivity features are expected by now - Bluetooth, WiFi, etc.
Software
Android 5.1 Lollipop is what you get from it for now. Infinix is a newer brand so you can’t quite be sure they’ll upgrade all their previous products to Marshmallow, but we hope they will. I wouldn’t quite complain in a 20K handset.
